Good for Jason Spezza. But four years @ $7.5 m for a 31-year-old on pace to score less than 20 goals this season?

That'd be a sweetheart deal for ol husky eyes. I'd take him on the team again but he's not really better than Gordon these days and I kinda believe he owes us one.

"In 706 career regular season games, he has posted 705 points (255-450=705)."

We don't necessarily need him to score goals -- we can bank on Seguin and Benn for that. We need his play-making ability. His ability to "see" things on the ice that most others cannot. That’s the biggest thing I’ve noticed from seeing him in person. This is fantastic for the Stars! Looking forward to the next several years with Benn/Seguin/Spezza as the centerpiece of a contending team.

when he's causing as many goals for the opposition as for his own team, and his back acts up AGAIN causing him to miss 15-20 games................you'll start to get frustrated.

TRUST ME....i know

there is obviously some good to his game, as long as you're able to stomach the bad
